Why Work With Us?

The work we do matters — and so do the people who do it. At Delta-X Research, you’ll find a respectful, low-ego environment where curiosity is encouraged, quality is valued, and good ideas come from everywhere. We believe in doing meaningful work without burning out, and we support each other in delivering thoughtful, high-impact solutions.

But meaningful work is only part of the equation. We also care about how we work together — with collaboration, trust, and a healthy respect for life outside of work. We celebrate wins, learn from challenges, and make space for growth.

We offer:

  • Competitive compensation range of $66,850 to $77,200 to start, and profit sharing.
  • Comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, life insurance, and long-term disability.
  • Three weeks of paid vacation, with room to grow over time.
  • A fully remote work environment with a team that trusts you to do your best work from where you work best.
  • Opportunities to learn, grow, and expand into new areas as we scale.

If you’re looking for meaningful work on a team that values your perspective and supports your growth, we’d love to hear from you.

Who You Are:

You are a natural relationship-builder who genuinely enjoys helping people succeed. You get energized by delivering training, explaining complex things clearly, and watching customers grow in confidence with a product. You are curious and comfortable in technical environments, and the fact that our software is rooted in science is interesting to you, not intimidating. You ask good questions, troubleshoot with patience, and communicate with warmth. You are equally at home on a customer call and in a CRM, and you thrive in a small team where your work has direct, visible impact.

What You’ll Do:

As a Customer Operations Specialist at Delta-X Research, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers adopt our tools successfully, get the support they need, and continue to find value throughout their relationship with us.

Customer Training and Success: Deliver engaging training sessions during onboarding and throughout the customer lifecycle, tailoring content to user roles and needs.

Technical Support and Onboarding: Serve as first responder for technical support tickets, configure Transformer Oil Analyst (TOA) databases, prepare and validate customer data, and help customers get set up for success from day one.

CRM and Documentation: Maintain HubSpot pipelines, dashboards, and data quality, and contribute to customer-facing resources such as knowledge base articles, training guides, and FAQs.

What You’ll Bring – Must Have:

  • 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing role involving technical support, training, or onboarding for software or SaaS products.
  • Demonstrated success delivering customer training and creating customer-facing documentation such as training guides, FAQs, or knowledge base articles.
  • Experience communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences, both in writing and verbally.
  • Experience using CRM and support tools such as HubSpot, Zendesk, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or a related technical or scientific field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

What You’ll Bring – Preferred:

  • Experience supporting or training users on SaaS tools in a B2B environment.
  • Familiarity with the electric utility sector, scientific data systems, or engineering workflows.
  • Experience with CRM data hygiene, workflow automations, or technical configuration in tools like HubSpot.
  • Working proficiency in Spanish or French is a strong asset.

What You Know & How You Work:

  • You understand how technical support processes and customer training contribute to long-term satisfaction and retention. You are skilled at delivering training sessions, managing support requests, and communicating solutions clearly. You can translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences, build strong customer relationships through responsiveness and care, and maintain calm and empathy in complex situations. You know how to work independently, manage shifting priorities, and surface trends that help improve both the customer experience and the product.

What We Look For In All Team Members:

At Delta-X Research, we care just as much about how you work as what you know. Across every role and function, we look for people who bring curiosity, integrity, and a collaborative spirit to the team. Here’s what matters to us:

  • A learning mindset. You don’t need to have all the answers — just a willingness to ask great questions, seek out feedback, and keep growing.
  • Respect and inclusion. We value diverse perspectives and create space for everyone to contribute meaningfully. Discrimination of any kind has no place here.
  • Team-first thinking. You know when to take the lead and when to support. You collaborate with care and communicate clearly.
  • Accountability and follow-through. You take ownership of your work and follow through on commitments — even when things get complex.
  • Clarity over ego. We care more about solving the problem than about who’s right. If something isn’t working, you speak up — and you’re open when others do the same.
  • Care for the craft. Whether it’s code, content, analysis, or client service, you take pride in the quality and usefulness of what you produce.
  • A practical sense of humour. We work hard and take our mission seriously, but we also know the value of a good laugh and a well-placed GIF.
