New structure geared to enhance customer service and facilitate expansion

VICTORIA, BC – April 21, 2015 – Delta-X Research, provider of TOA4 Online, an industry-leading tool for assessing and tracking the condition of high-voltage electrical apparatus, has completed its corporate reorganization. The new organization’s headquarters remains in Victoria BC while its wholly owned subsidiary, Delta-X Research USA, is based in Durham NC. The reorganization streamlines operations in order to enhance customer services and facilitate product line expansion.

Delta-X also welcomes John Brett as President and CEO. Over 25 years, John has held leadership roles in organizations that delivered solutions for demanding applications including utility operations, industrial automation, and navy command & control.  John was an early principal at Tantalus where he established and led the product and go-to-market strategies that enabled Tantalus to grow and become a leading North American smart grid communications supplier. John is also a registered Professional Engineer.

“For over twenty years we have been helping the electric power industry transition from filing cabinets, slide rules, and time-based apparatus testing to automation, online information, and condition-based maintenance,” said Dr. Jim Dukarm, Delta-X Founder and CTO.   “We are very glad to have John Brett’s leadership skills and industry experience to strengthen and grow our business.”

“Our customers are the backbone of our success” added George Forrest, Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “I am very excited about the future as we have established a strong foundation to fully leverage our technology and knowledge base for our customers’ benefit. And with the accelerated installation of online monitors, we are ready to provide the advanced data processing and interpretation tools needed by substation maintainers and asset managers.”

“It is a great privilege to be asked to lead the Delta-X team” said Brett. “Since joining, I have been overwhelmed with positive and constructive feedback from both our customers and our peers. Jim and George have done an incredible job of advancing the science of dissolved gas analysis and establishing Delta-X as a leader in the transformer monitoring market. As utilities address the challenge of improving reliability and return-on-investment concurrently, I am convinced Delta-X is poised to deliver superior intelligence solutions that enable operations teams and asset managers to make the best decisions possible for safe energy delivery and optimal budget utilization.”
